We are a Deanery of nineteen Parishes, grouped into seven Benefices, within the Dorchester Area of the Diocese of Oxford.

Our aim is to serve the loving God, wonderfully revealed in Jesus Christ, by building relationships and working together in our part of North Oxfordshire.

Our Deanery Logo expresses this working together, the twenty-three stones of a Cotswold drystone wall representing the twenty-three congregations in the Deanery. (A reminder of St. Peter's words in his first letter in the Bible, 'Like living stones let yourselves be built into a spiritual house.' 1 Peter 2:3) In the foreground is the cross, which is at the heart of our Christian faith, and underneath the expression of our Deanery raison d'etre.
