Diocesan Apportionment for 2010

This details on the first page, taking into account the whole population of the area, the Deanery's ability to pay from census statistics.
The second page details what this means from the electoral rolls of the parishes, and by combining this with the ability to pay from the first page, calculates the amount of money the Deanery can be expected to afford. This is then expressed as a percentage of the Diocesan budget as a whole.
On the third page, the minstry costs of the Deanery are presented.
On the fourth page the Share is calculated for the Deanery. This is £374,874 for the year January to December 2010, an increase of 2.2% on 2009.

Deanery Apportionment Principles for 2010

The Deanery decided at its Synod meeting in June 2009 to allocate the 2010 Parish Share according to a new formula. Following recommendations by the Deanery Working Party on Parish Share to the November 2008 Deanery Synod, and having been discussed widely in the following six months, Deanery Synod agreed:

That the Share be distributed to the BENEFICES according to three factors:

Civil Population 33%
Church Attendance 33%
Ministry Cost 33%
